Morning's By Mom!

Yesterday it was very sunny and nice outside.  Today it's raining and muddy outside.

Do you moms ever feel melancholy when it's raining?  It's when you know your day isn't going to be bad but because of the gloom outside your day could be bad.  I don't know maybe it's just me being over the top as usual but when the rain comes I sometimes feel that way.

To help me focus and get my mind together for the gloom I have my morning coffee (at least 5 cups). Yes a bit to much but hey, I'm human.  Then I break out my youtube and start my yoga with one of my favorite yoga gurus and she she is...Brett Larkin!

I've always incorporated yoga in my workout routine in some way. My workout routine has evolved over the years from hardcore to subtle and now to meditation of my mind to body strengthening yoga.
Brett Larkin is one of those yoga gurus that knows her stuff.  I spend at least 3 times a week incorporating her yoga videos into the rest of workout routine.  Her videos are packed with so much power that she will have you sweating and sore for 3 days (hahaha)! Being truthful!

Honestly though, incorporating a repetitious yoga routine in your week will not only strengthen your body but also your mind.  You see moms, while you're holding those yoga poses for however many seconds, your mind begins to think and wonder and think and wonder (you get my point).
Anyway; it's calming sense of self that brings you back to your center (and causes you to sweat up a storm). It's a mind-body thing. When you feel through your body like you can't, your mind says "you can." The power of the brain! Real talk!

So to all of the moms out of there who will read this and feel that their day might be gloom and doom, start your day with my favorite yoga guru "Brett Larkin."  Give yourself 15 mins to break that morning gloom-dom with this fantastic yoga start.

So from one mom to the next cheers and have a fantastic day!!

Toodles...
