Mornings By Mom!

Mornings are my absolute favorite as many already know about me.  When my eyes open and I can mentally feel myself move I am up and ready to go.

Sadly many of you don't like mornings and that's not good.  You should be beaming that you're blessed to get up and see a new day.  It's the start of everything new, no continuation of the previous. So get up, get some positive feeling in your body and have a beautiful morning like you've never had!

As my mornings persist the coffee snob in me can't wait to get up and drink that must-have piping hot cup of coffee.  Coffee is like my "man" that I can't wait to see (sort of). It's my go-to drink, it's my oxygen (sort of but not really), totally exaggerating!

This coffee just has me so worked up right now!

My mornings usually start at 4 am. That's right Cinderellas 4 am.  I've been doing this since my high school days. It started with getting up at 6 am per my granny. Then it moved on to my military days where 4 am was the call time for physical training.  So I'm use to waking up early and getting my day started.

This morning I got in my yoga with my girl Brett Larkin. She is amazing! I have truly turned into a yoga mom for sure. It's unbelievable how much my body has stretched and become so lean. So proud of myself (pat on my back). Her yoga routines work me from my brain stem to my toes Lol. I promise moms it's nothing like her yoga workouts! Get your yoga on!

After yoga, the first thing that caught my eye as I scrolled through my social media with sweat running down my face was that Hillary ripped Trump a new one.  All I could I do was shake my head. It's always something with these candidates. One day it's Trump being ridiculous and then it's Hillary being told to smile (which many took offense to). Politics is a back and forth ponzie scheme that's made for a very special kind of individual.  Hillary is a strong woman who has taken many hits when her husband was in office and more so now because she's running for office.  Talk about the rooster pen. Lol

Since it's Sunday and I am not technically working (accept writing on my amazing blog), I decided to read through one my favorite magazines, "Parents" and my new one, "Runner's World."

Parents magazine have the best articles and advice for moms.  Whether you're a new mom or a seasoned mom with more than one kid, "Parents" magazine has something for all of us!

The latest which is the June issue has the talented "Stephen Curry" and his two adorable kids on the cover. His oldest little girl is so cute. She looks just like him! Don't get me started on the little baby. WOW...how beautiful!

As you read on there's a well written article about his family. His beautiful wife Ayesha Curry is just great! She's pictured in a denim jumpsuit looking fabulous with her two beautiful girls. Ayesha talks about her hot hot rising cooking career and both parents talk about balancing it all.

Great interview by "Parents" magazine.
Lovely family.

As you turn the pages and get to the back, they have great recipes as well as home solutions you can do to change things up in your space and make it fabulous.

Oh and one more thing before I move on to the other thing I did this morning. Make sure you look at the advertisement page. Yes they are advertisements but the products with the white star beside them are items that you can actually win! Yes win and we moms love to win things!!

Part 2:
I just recently got a subscription to "Runner's World" magazine.  I love running and do it about three times a week. This magazine offers great tips and well written articles on what else, running.

What really caught my eye is there summer (sneaker) shoe guide.  They had individuals to actually test certain brands to see how well they fared.

Here are the sneakers that tested well:
Editors choice: Sketchers GOrun 4 - 2016
Best Debut: New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo
Best Buy: Mizuno Wave  Hitogami 3
Best Update: Adidas Adizero Adios 3

Figure out which shoes will work best for you and your run and go from there. Everyone's foot is different. We all walk and run different. Getting fitted for the proper running shoe will only enhance how you run, definitely how you walk and more importantly your balance. If I know one thing a great shoe will help you keep great balance as go throughout your day.

I know for me I need more than just a running shoe. I require a shoe for running and also to wear throughout the day. Sometimes I don't have time to change my shoes. Being comfortable is important!

The other thing that caught my eye is the fact that they have recipes that looks so yummy! I can't wait to put them to the test.
